About Us
The WA Screen Awards is the state’s premier film and television event, celebrating the innovation and achievements of Western Australian filmmakers, from students through to established industry professionals.
The Awards aim to:
- Promote the achievements of the WA Screen Industry
- Encourage early career filmmakers
- Connect filmmakers with an audience; and
- Provide networking opportunities for members of the filmmaking community.
Bridging the gap

Our judging panels are manned by industry practitioners who have significant experience working on professional productions. Many nominees have received offers of work or professional guidance following the judging of the awards.
